Christ Arose! So What? (1 Corinthians 15:14)

Pastor Chuck Huckaby, April 4, 2010
Part of the Christian Year series, preached at a Sunday Morning service

Each year at Easter we celebrate the Resurrection of Our Lord.

Unfortunately, we are rarely able to say exactly what the significance of His resurrection is. 1 Corinthians 15:14 tells us "if Christ has not been raised, then all our preaching is useless, and your faith is useless."

If the resurrection is so central to our faith, why do many of our presentations of God's Good News consider it almost an "afterthought"... a "Grand Finale" to a really good story, but other than that, seemingly not essential to the rest of the Good News Story!

This sermon begins to discuss the significance of our Lord's atonement for the Christian Life and Ministry.
