Lawrence County Celebrate Recovery Weathers The Storm –And Helps Others Weather Their Life’s Storms

Lawrenceburg, TN (March 25, 2010) As Lawrence County remained alert for the possibility of severe weather Thursday night, Celebrate Recovery of Lawrence County braved the storm and opened their doors to public for their initial meeting to all those seeking help with life’s hurts, hang ups, and habits. Richard Cobb, the Alabama State Director for Celebrate Recovery and his wife Dara, greeted the audience and shared their powerful testimony of God’s grace. Tonight’s meeting begins the weekly “Open Meeting” of Celebrate Recovery in Lawrence County, TN. Meetings will be held weekly on Thursday Nights at 6:00 PM for a light meal, 7:00 for Large Group, and 8:00 pm for Men’s and Women’s Open Small Groups. Regardless of the weather outside, Celebrate Recovery helps people of all backgrounds “weather life’s storms”.
Celebrate Recovery (CR) is a Christ-centered 12 Step Program that deals with big issues like recovery from alcohol, drugs and sex addiction, as well as everyday issues like abandonment, grief, codependency, divorce, eating disorders, anger, resentment and abuse. CR is a ministry of St. Andrew’s Church Lawrenceburg TN (MissionLawrence.org) and is made up of ordinary people, just like you, who are on a journey toward wholeness seeking recovery from and healing of life’s hurts, habits and hang ups through the power of Jesus Christ the Lord.
Trained leaders provide safe, confidential Christ-centered groups where people can grow. They offer their stories as fellow travelers the Road to Recovery.
