10 Days of Prayer – Ascension Day To Pentecost 2010 – May 13 to May 23
May 10th, 2010
May 13-23 are the days between the celebration of the Ascension of our Lord when He was seated not only as the one who intercedes for us, but also the one who reigns as God’s Anointed King (Psalm 2 cf. Acts 13:33) and our remembrance of the day of Pentecost and the dramatic outpouring of God’s Spirit upon His People (Acts 2).
These 10 days of prayer between Ascension and Pentecost are designed to unite Christians worldwide in intercession for not only the needs of humanity, but also for the extension of God’s glory throughout the earth.
For your convenience, a link is provided so you may view and pray with other Christians during these 10 days:
Global Day of Prayer Guide (online viewing only)
On Pentecost Sunday, the time of prayer culminates with a “Prayer for the World”. Then participants in the Global Day of Prayer effort are encouraged to enter into “90 Days of Blessing”, a special effort to encourage service to others in Christ’s Name.
